Mount Batur sunrise climb and hotsprings

This volcano is made up of a vast caldera whose rim culminates at Mount Abang at an altitude of 2,152 meters. The interior of the depression, the bottom of which is occupied to the south-east by Lake Batur, has several volcanic cones including Mount Batur itself.
Located in the Kintamani Mountains, Mount Batur rises to 1,717 meters above sea level and is one of the most active volcanoes in the region. To better appreciate the experience on Mount Batur, sign up for an early morning hike. These tours usually depart from Ubud around 3 a.m. and arrive at the base of the volcano while it is still dark.
